Term 3 Holidays 

In the holidays I went to Hannah's Bay with dad, mum and James. We went on a very long walk there and saw planes about to land at the airport. Hannah's Bay is close to the Rotorua airport. 

We also went to the Kaituna river bridge. 

We went on a big bus to visit Nana Kiwi. It took ages to get there but I had fun on the bus. 

Nana Kiwi, James and I went on a nice walk along the river. I saw a rescue boat going down the river. I think it rescued one young man swimming.

In the next photo i'm the one with the Fireman Sam bag. James and I decided to have a race on the Kaituna River bridge. James won the race and I got left behind. James sure is a race runner. Next time we go there and have a race I think i'm going to win.

In the next photo i'm standing on the road waiting for James. Don't worry though there were no cars coming and Nana was with me.

mud

Today I read a book called Stuck in the Mud by Maria Beard. Its about a mum who got stuck in the mud while trying to catch whitebait. She did catch some whitebait but on the way homes he got stuck.

I've been stuck in the mud before. It was yesterday morning when dad took me out to the information centre. we had to walk there from home and all the way back. The mud was stopping our car from going. Also we had to call the mud truck to get our car free. There was no mud at the information centre.

I love my mum. Love Emily. My mum cooks nice dinners. My mum I appreciate her. My mum is lovely. My mum works at Rainbow Springs. She looks after me and puts me to bed.

Emily's Apple Juice

Today I brought in some apples from home so I could make apple juice for my class. Miss Cato cut the bad bits out of the apples for me and I taste tested them. Then I put them in the juicer. Some of the juice splashed onto me and I was so patient waiting for the apple juice. It tasted good and I wanted more and more. We then poured some apple juice into cups for the rest of my class to try. Everyone really enjoyed the apple juice I made and kept asking if they could have more. I want to make juice again. Next time I want to make pineapple juice.
